The Subway Rambler (Online)
This isn't from some guy who just spends his time rambling around the tunnels of the MTA. The name is a shortened form of the blog's original title, "That Rambling Guy on the Subway, Online." Hope that clears things up for you.

This is really nice (as I said before). Did Greenberger approve? Has it been published?
As you know, I am of the firm opinion that I do not see nearly enough Dave art. So yay!
I like the contrast of simple b/w line drawing for real life and color paintings for memories. Interesting that her memories are more vivid than her reality.
J: I think it's been published, and the issue is out this month (although I haven't seen it yet). Greenberger liked it a lot, I believe. At least he liked it enough to want to do another one with me, which I guess will be some time in the summer.
X: I hadn't thought of it like that, when I came up with the contrast idea - but one thing I like about this solution (the original script was just the monologue) is that it takes a couple of very simple visual ideas and gives them a lot of iconic depth - or at least more symbolic depth than I could muster if I tried to think it out.

...Dave, I don't know how to tell you this, but it would appear you have become a brand of discount soda.
Yah, that was me commenting from the newspaper offices, which are a fully Google Docs workplace. It's just more of a pain to log in as myself than to be RC.
Next week, I'll be Mr. Pibb.
